New Orleans, Austin Chosen to Host Future Conventions SPSP is excited to announce two cities selected to host upcoming conventions. New Orleans has been selected as the 2020 host and Austin will be the 2021 host. 2017 – San Antonio, TX 2018 – Atlanta, GA 2019 – Portland, OR 2020 – New Orleans, LA 2021 – Austin, TX

Social and personality psychological research has become significantly more complex in theory, methodology, and statistics over time. To help ensure that the training of graduate students sustains advances and innovations in these fields, for the past decade SPSP has offered a highly successful program of Summer Institute in Social and Personality Psychology. Graduate students from social psychology and personality psychology graduate programs attend the advanced two-week intensive training program, led by the best scholars in the field.
