Nominees Sought for SPSP Leadership Positions

SPSP is looking for a diverse pool of candidates for the 2016 election cycle. Nominees bring varying perspectives and experiences to the SPSP Board of Directors and help guide the mission/vision of our organization. Prior involvement in SPSP leadership is not a requirement.

We are accepting nominations for the following four positions:

  • (2) Member at Large for 3-year term starting January 1, 2017
  • (2) Nominees to run for APA Division 8 Council Representative for 3-year term starting January 1, 2017
  • (1) President-elect starting January 1, 2017 (followed by a year as president and a year as past-president)

Nominations should be submitted no later than 5 pm EDT, Friday, January 8. Interested members may self-nominate or nominate a colleague at Descriptions of the positions are available here.

Under direction of the Past President, the full Board of Directors will seriously consider all nominations and present a slate of candidates for each position. Considerations will be given to ensure the slates are diverse and complementary to the Board’s composition. While the nomination process is open, being nominated does not guarantee that a nominee will appear on the ballot.

For questions about the nomination process, please contact SPSP Executive Director Chad Rummel or 2016 Past President Mark Leary

Thank you for your continued support of SPSP.
