The nomination portals for SPSP's Annual Awards are now open. These awards recognize contributions to the field of personality and social psychology. Awardees will be recognized at the SPSP 2019 Annual Convention.
Nominations close June 1, 2018. Nominate yourself or a colleague early to ensure that your submission is considered!
Diener Award in Personality Psychology: recognizes a mid-career scholar whose work has added substantially to the body of knowledge to the personality field and/or brings together personality psychology and social psychology
Diener Award in Social Psychology: recognizes a mid-career scholar whose work has added substantially to the body of knowledge to the social psychology field and/or brings together personality psychology and social psychology
SAGE Young Scholars Awards: recognize outstanding young researchers (who are between 3 to 7 years into their first academic faculty position) in personality and social psychology. (nominations open summer 2018)
Teaching and Mentoring Awards- for excellence in teaching and mentoring among faculty in settings with and without social-personality Ph.D. programs
Ambady Award for Mentoring Excellence: honors a personality or social psychologist who has demonstrated a career-long commitment to fostering the professional and intellectual development of students and early career researchers
Cialdini Prize: recognizes the author(s) of a publication that uses field methods and demonstrates the relevance of social psychology to outside groups and communities
Wegner Theoretical Innovation Prize: recognizes the author of an article or book chapter judged to provide the most innovative theoretical contribution to social/personality psychology within a given year
Media Awards - for contributions to helping the general public better understand the field
Book Prize: give recognition to the best book of the year that presents social and personality psychology to broader audiences
